●  19, May - Indian army started Operation Vijay.

●  15, June - 18 Grenadiers cut off Intruders at tha Hamp and recaptured it.

●  18, June - J&k Rifles recaptured P-5140.

●  7,July - Indian soldiers recaptured Junar heights in Batalik Sector.

●  8,July - 8 Sikh, 18 Grenadiers , 2 Naga rifles recaptured Tiger Hill.

●  14, July - Atal Bihari Vajpayee announced Success of operation Vijay.

●  26, July - Kargil War officially comes to an end. Indian Army announces the complete withdrawal of Pakistani irregular and regular forces.
