●  Born - 31, October, 1875 at Nadiad, Gujrat. (Patel's d.o.b. never officially recorded, Patel entered it as 31, October on his Matriculation Exam Papers) This day in india Celebrated as The National Unity Day.


●  Parents - Jhaverbhai Patel, Ladba.

●  He was one of six Siblings.

●  Patel Attended school at Nadiad, Petlad, Borsad.

●  He was very Brave, even in his Childhood he Lanced his own Boil with out any Hesitation.

●  Patel passed his Matriculation at the Age of 22, then he travelled to the England and became Barrister.

●  Jhaverba was her wife and couple had 1 Daughter Maniben (1903) and 1 son Dahyabhai (1905). 


●  Patel was the Founder and Chairman of Edward Memorial High School, today known as Jhaverbhai Dajibhai Patel High School.

●  1920 - He was elected as the president of newly formed Gujrat Pradesh Congress Committee after he successfully helped peasants to not to pay tax for year ( because of Famine), He served till the 1945 as the President of Committee.

●  1922, 1924, 1927 - He elected as The Municipal President of Ahmedabad.

●  Patel supported Gandhiji's Non-Cooperation movement and toured the state to recruit more than 3 lakh members and raised 1.5 million in Funds. 


●  August, 1928 - Patel negotiated a settlement that included repealing the tax hike, Reinstating village officials who resigned in Protest and returning seized Property and Land. After this Victory of Indian National Congress , Patel began to referred as ' SARDAR '.

●  1931 - Under the Chairmanship of Sardar, ' Fundamental Rights of Economic Policy ' resolution was Passed by the Congress.

●  As Gandhiji started the Dandi Salt March, Patel was arrested without witness and no Lawyer or Journalist allowed to Visit.

●  1931 - Patel was elected as the President of Congress.

●  1932 - Gandhiji and Patel were Arrested after the Failure of the Round Table Conference in London.

●  1936 - Patel Clashed with Nehru, Opposing declaration of the adoption of Socialism at Congress session,  which he believed was a diversion from the Main goal of achieving independence.

●  1940 - He Participated in Gandhiji's call for Individual Disobedience and get arrested for 9 Months.

●  9th, August, 1942 - Arrested and Imprisoned with the entire Congress working Committee and released on 15, June, 1945.

●  16, May, 1946 - The plan of British to propose the Partition of India on religious lines, with over 565 princely state free to choose between India, Pakistan or remain Independent.

●  Vallabh bhai patel was one of the First Congress leader to accept the Partition of India as a solution to the Rising Muslim Separatist movement led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

●  After Gandhiji rejected and Congress approved the plan, Patel represented India on the Partition Council.

●  Patel took charge of the Integration of India.

●  6, August, 1947 - Patel began lobbying the Princes and asked them to join India.

●  15, August, 1947 - Patel set a Deadline for princely state to sign the Instrument of Accession Document. 


●  All princely state Signed except
     1) Junagadh
     2) Jammu and Kashmir
     3) Hyderabad

●  Nawab of Junagadh wanted to join Pakistan but the population of his state was Hindu more than 80% , Patel sent army to occupy three Principalities of Junagadh and after election in the state 99.5% people wanted to merge with India.

●  After Hyderabad's Nizam organized attacks on Indian Soil, Patel sent Indian Forces to take control over Hydrabad state and added Forcefully in India.

●  Jan, 1948 - Gandhi was
Assassinated by a Member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Nathuram Godse.

●  4, February, 1948 - Patel ordered Ban on RSS.

● Died - 15, December, 1950 at Bombay, India due to Heart Attack.
